Funny how it happens all at once. I got an email today from a coworker (the one who noticed me losing when I was 20 pounds down), saying that I look GREAT!.
Not 15 minutes later, a guy coworker stuck his head in my office and said that he wasn't sure if this was against the rules or not, and he hadn't said anything before because he was afraid of harassment rules, but that I'm looking really good these days. (In the supportive coworker-y sense - this guy has 6 kids!)
Then the guys in the offices on either side of mine both came out and said, "yeah! You do look good!" They'd both noticed, but hesitated too. One of them is a small guy, so I joked that I'd lost "1/2 a Bob!"
Very nice thing to happen on a Monday!!
Awww that always feels so good doesnt it. I think you have always looked good though you are just looking healthier now!

ReplyDeleteI walked on air last year when I got tons of people who I hadn't seen in months/years be shocked. :D
Today, we went to a Lebanese restaurant where hubby gets take-out for dinners. I hadn't been there in a while, and the owner was chatting with hubby, did a double take with me, and went, "Excuse me if this is out of line but...haven't you changed a lot?" I explained my weight loss of 120 lbs. He said he was leery of making a comment, cause he thought my husband must have remarried, that I was THAT different. He last saw me about 80-90 pounds ago.
That made my night. :D
Transformation eventually becomes really noticeable..and it shows ard work pays off. People's feedback makes for a fresh wind at our backs.
